Grind some nutmeg.
Mince some garlic.
Add oregano, paprika, salt and pepper.
Add parmesan. Combine beef and spices.
Brown them in an oiled skillet.
Prepare the sauce: dice the onion.
Heat some olive oil in a saucepan, add the onion and saute it.
Add the diced tomatoes.
Add oregano, chili powder and sugar. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook undercovered on low heat for about half an hour.
Carefully add browned meatballs to the sauce and pour the water over them.
Cook undercovered for about an hour.
Cut rolls lenghtwise, but not all the way through.
Place meatballs on the roll.
Top with mozzarella.
Top with pesto and place in the oven.
180C, c. 10 minutes - until cheese melts.
